RUACH to honor Twerski, Richman

          RUACH, Inc., the Milwaukee Jewish arts and music organization, is honoring two of its key volunteer leaders, Rabbi Benzion Twerski and Steve Richman, at its annual benefit event.

          The tribute event, entitled “Take A Bow: A RUACH Encore Revue,” is slated to take place Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 W. Walnut St.

          A 2 p.m. dessert reception will be followed at 2:45 p.m. by a varied program of featured acts relating to RUACH. They will include:

          • Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Principal Trombone, Megumi Kanda, and pianist Jeannie Yu.

          • A new segment from RUACH’s “Stories that Unite and Delight: A Jewish Story Project.”

          • Music from The Flying Camels, featuring Adam Margolis (guitar), Rick Aaron (flute), Linda Siegel (percussion) and Jim Paolo (bass).

          • Harpist Devorah Fisher.

          • Mime performed by Nancy Weiss-McQuide, accompanied by storyteller Robert Rubovits.
