Gendelman’s Yello app
available from Apple

Former Milwaukeean Daniel Gendelman of Los Angeles is the chief executive officer of a company he founded in 2011 that manufactures a computer application called Yello.

According to an email from his father, Milwaukeean Bruce Gendelman, this application is now available for purchase through the Apple Computer App Store.

Bruce also included an article reviewing Yello written by Eric Kuhn — “an important tech ‘guru.’” This article describes Yello as “a social app that answers the questions ‘What should I do?’ and ‘Where should I go?’ It was founded on the idea that personalized recommendations are difficult to come by, and wading through the vastness of public reviews is time-consuming and cumbersome.”

“Unlike other websites or apps that provide ratings and recommendations on experiences, places and events, Yello utilizes a ‘following’ format so everything that appears in a user’s news feed is relevant, based on information from people they’ve chosen to follow,” according to Kuhn.

More information about Yello is available in the iTunes App Store.
