The Friendship Circle of Wisconsin is holding a “We Can Save Lives Tour”, a safeTALK Suicide Prevention Training initiative dedicated to the memory of Alderman Jonathan Brostoff, OBM.
In tribute to his legacy of service, the tour will travel across Wisconsin, conducting 41 trainings — one for each year of Alderman Brostoff’s life — with a goal of training over 1,000 participants by Sept. 10, 2025, Suicide Prevention Day.
The “We Can Save Lives Tour” will provide communities throughout the state with essential skills to recognize the signs of suicide risk, reach out with understanding, and connect those in need with vital resources, according to a press release. Each safeTALK session is designed to build awareness, empathy, and proactive intervention skills that can save lives.
“Jonathan Brostoff dedicated himself to building a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Levi Stein, executive director. “With this tour, we aim to carry forward his vision, empowering individuals across Wisconsin to make a difference and be there for each other.”
